Theme: Creating and Curating Social Media Content

Executive Summary

Approximately 65% of U.S. adults in 2015 were using social media, up from 7% in 2005, according to Pew Research Center. As the number of consumers that use social networking sites began to grow, companies are realizing the importance of engaging and interacting with them online. Social media success regularly relies on the thoughtful creation and curation of content. Companies are struggling with when to use content creation versus content curation and how to use it effectively. The goal is to understand the difference and benefits between the two and to use both.
